The Gilbert Hilton tract is located in what is known as the Borough (Currie, NC), just south of Moore’s Creek National Battlefield. The tract boasts over 2,000 feet of road frontage on the east and west sides of HWY 210. Excellent for recreational uses and homestead sites, there is plenty of diversity on this tract. Loblolly pine plantations make up a large portion of this tract, with older-natural stands mixed throughout. The tract features river access and frontage on Moore’s Creek (tributary to the Black River and Cape Fear River). There is a large amount of bay, including old bottomland hardwood, on the southern side of the property. That bottomland can be dammed for flooding, giving you excellent duck hunting habitat.
